Swedish architect Mans Tham went halfway around the world to find inspiration for this insanely awesome design for a serpent-shaped solar skin for the Sana Monica freeway. This renovation of existing urban infrastructure is a provocative conversation starter in terms of sustainable design, and this proposal is an incredible approach that would add 237 acres of solar power to the middle of Los Angeles! How fabulous is that?

Dr. Jacques Benveniste has discovered certain scientific properties of water. These properties cannot be explained by conventional physics. He calls this particular brand of science 'digital biology'. And to note: other scientists have duplicated his experiments. They’re evidence of extraterrestrial visitations, time travelers or lost civilizations like Atlantis – or perhaps they’re here to show us that some ancient peoples were far more advanced than we think. It’s hard not to get caught up in the mystery and intrigue of these puzzling and often bizarre ancient objects, most of which simply can’t be explained by modern science. A Russian scientist is trying to convince people they can change the world simply by using their own energy. He claims that thinking in a certain way can have a positive or negative effect on the surrounding environment. We are developing the idea that our consciousness is part of the material world and that with our consciousness we can directly influence our world,' said Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, a professor of physics at St. Petersburg State Technical University. To bridge our understanding of the unseen world of energy, scientific experiments are being carried out using a technique called bioelectrophotography. The assumption is that we are constantly emitting energy. Bioelectrophotography aims to capture these energy fields seen as a light around the body – or what some people would call your aura. Visitors look at a model of the Tiangong-1 space station. Less than a decade ago, it fired its first human being into orbit. Now, Beijing is working on a multi-capsule outpost in space. But what is the political message of the Tiangong 'heavenly palace'? China laid out plans for its future in space yesterday, unveiling details of an ambitious new space station to be built in orbit within a decade. The project, which one NASA adviser describes as a "potent political symbol", is the latest phase in China's rapidly developing space program. It is less than a decade since China put a human into orbit for the first time, and three years since its first spacewalk. |
